Forthcoming Events

Talks, Book Discussions and Bible Studies

The next events on our schedule:

  • Weds 8th and Tues 14th Sept at 8pm in church: two sessions on archaeology and the bible, led by Stuart Forbes.
  • Our next bible study series in the autumn will be about Psalms

We have now added some of the notes for our recent study sessions to an online archive, in case you missed a topic or would like to read our handouts online.

Social and Fundraising Events

We hold regular events to get to know each other better. Some of these have the ulterior motive of raising funds for church from those who are able to contribute, but our educational events and monthly parish breakfasts are free.

  • 19th September - Pet Service. Following the success of last year's Pet Service, we are planning another for this autumn. Put Sunday September 19th, 5pm in your diaries now! This service will be suitable for people and animals of all ages and (just about) all types!
  • The Last of the Summer Wine and Food Tasting - Saturday 25th September Delectable wines, delicious food and dedicated experts to make the evening go with a swing
  • St Bart's Marvellous Talent Evening - Saturday 16th October Thrill to the magic of our collective abilities! Gasp in awe as we redefine the meaning of talent! Join in the fun and tomfoolery! No act too daft! Speak to Gill Daly or Nic Dax or call Gill on 020 8659 6327
  • Joint churches' youth weekend at Carrotty Wood on 22nd to 24th October open to young people 11 to 18 - see Heidi, Claire Adams or Adam Letchmere for details.
  • Craft fair: this year's Craft Fair will be on Saturday 13th November. Details to be confirmed shortly.
