Special services at St Bart's

Candlemas - Sunday 5 February at 10am

Forty days after his birth, Jesus was taken to the temple in Jerusalem to fulfil Jewish law for the first-born son. He was recognised then as 'the light of the Gentiles'. In this service we re-enact this event with a candle procession. Candlemas is a turning point from looking back towards Christmas to looking forward to Lent and Easter.

Multi-faith service - Saturday 28 January

A service to mark National Holocaust Memorial Day will take place at the Catford Synagogue, Crantock Road, SE6 2QT. All are welcome.
